Main Requirements for Automotive Mechanics Assistant: Education: Completed secondary education; preferably a graduate or student of a technical program in Automotive Mechanics, Maintenance, or related fields. Experience: Previous experience of 6 months to 1 year in similar positions, preventive or corrective maintenance. Knowledge: Proficiency in using hand and electric tools. Basic knowledge of brake systems, suspension systems, engines, and lubrication. Ability to identify tools to avoid delays. Physical and Personal Skills: Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy tools and stand for extended periods. High attention to detail for precision tasks. Ability to work collaboratively and under supervision. Proactivity and quick problem-solving skills. Safety: Knowledge of occupational safety protocols. Common Responsibilities: Oil, filter, and lubrication changes. Disassembly, cleaning, and repair of parts under supervision. Support in diagnosing and repairing brakes and engines.
