Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced cook/pizzaiolo for kitchen or pizzeria operations to prepare and bake pizzas and pasta while maintaining high standards of quality and hygiene. Ability to work under pressure and with agility. **PROFILE REQUIREMENTS:** **\-**Completed secondary education; incomplete higher education. Culinary studies (preferred). \-Minimum 6 months of experience in kitchen, pizzeria, or restaurant, in any of the following stations: oven, pizza assembly, pasta preparation, or kitchen support. **Knowledge:** * Food handling and good food safety practices. * Basic baking techniques, pizza assembly, pasta cooking, and plating. * Oven temperature control and cooking time management. * Basic portioning and dough stretching/rolling techniques (manual or using a roller). * Kitchen hygiene, cleaning, and safety standards. **Skills:** * Manual dexterity and speed. * Ability to work under pressure. * Organization and cleanliness at the workstation. * Teamwork and effective communication. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * At the oven station: prepare the oven at the start of the shift by verifying correct temperature and functionality; bake pizzas, baked pastas, and other items according to recipes, specified times, and temperatures. * At the assembly station: receive dough, portion or stretch it according to pizza type and size, and place ingredients following recipes and established standards. * Verify ingredient quality, freshness, and temperature before use. * Coordinate with colleagues from other stations to ensure orders are prepared in the correct sequence and within required timeframes. * Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workstation throughout the shift. * Monitor station supplies and report needs, shortages, or incidents. * Comply with hygiene, food handling, and workplace safety regulations. * Participate in general cleaning and kitchen area closing procedures at the end of the shift.
