Job Summary: We are seeking a Customs Clearance Assistant to handle import procedures, pre-approvals (vistos buenos), collection of air waybills, preliminary inspections, and physical appraisals. Key Responsibilities: 1. Process import air and maritime cargo release procedures 2. Coordinate pre-approval (vistos buenos) with maritime agents 3. Conduct preliminary inspections and physical appraisals of goods On behalf of our client — an OEA-certified company dedicated to providing comprehensive logistics solutions for international trade operations — we are seeking top talent to join the team as a **Customs Clearance Assistant**, meeting the following requirements: **REQUIREMENTS:** * Hold a **Sunat-approved IAT examination certificate** * Immediate availability * Availability to work in Callao **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Process customs release procedures for import air and maritime cargo from various temporary deposit warehouses. * Process pre-approval (vistos buenos) requests with various maritime agents. * Collect air waybills. * Conduct preliminary inspections. * Apply labels to goods. * Conduct physical appraisals. * Conduct joint inspections with SENASA when required. * Prepare and submit envelopes according to applicable customs regimes and control channels.
