Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
* Minimum **6 years of experience in technology projects**, and **over 3 years as a Data Architect**.
* Experience designing and implementing **Lakehouse architectures on Azure**, and end-to-end data solutions.
* Experience with **Big Data architectures** in both On-Premise and Azure Cloud environments, including participation in Proof-of-Concept (PoC) initiatives.
* Experience with **Medallion models (RDV, UDV, and DDV)**.
* Experience developing with **Spark** and **Python**, and integrating **batch** and **near real-time** data.
* Experience with Data Governance using **Unity Catalog** and **Microsoft Purview**.
* Knowledge of **FinOps principles** for cost optimization in data platforms.
* Proficiency in **Azure Databricks** (Notebooks, Workflows, and SQL Warehouses), **Azure Data Factory**, **Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)**, **Blob Storage**, **Azure SQL**, **Azure Event**, and data pipelines.
* Integration with **Power BI**, and management tools such as **Azure DevOps**, **Jira**, **GitHub**, and **Trello**.
###### **Desirable Knowledge**
* Experience in regulated sectors such as banking, insurance, or finance.
* Familiarity with **DAMA** and best practices in Data Architecture.
* Experience working under **Chapter** or **Center of Excellence (CoE)** models.
* Proficiency in Agile methodologies.
**What Are the Responsibilities?**
* Design and evolve the enterprise data architecture under the **Lakehouse model**.
* Define and implement scalable data pipelines using Spark, event-driven architectures, and CI/CD practices.
* Provide technical guidance to Data Engineering, Analytics, and Data Science teams.
* Ensure compliance with Data Governance guidelines through Unity Catalog and Purview.
* Review and validate architectural proposals, ensuring quality, security, scalability, and cost optimization (FinOps).
* Guarantee documentation and traceability of solutions, promoting standards defined by the Chapter and CoE.
