Job Summary: Semada Tech is seeking a Data Engineer to develop and maintain data solutions, ensuring data quality and timeliness, and implementing new technologies. Key Highlights: 1. Semada Tech, an IT solutions specialist serving diverse industries, is looking for a Data Engineer to join a key operation within one of the country’s most prominent companies. **Responsibilities:** * Independently and comprehensively develop data projects covering all layers of the *data lake*: data ingestion, cleansing and ETL processes, data modeling, and visualization layer construction, in compliance with Architecture team standards. * Ensure the quality and timeliness of delivered information. * Deliver information within optimal timeframes using tools defined by the Analytics CoE (on-premise and AWS). * Provide support to internal customers according to the Analytics CoE incident escalation and inquiry process. * Research and implement business-aligned best practices and emerging technologies. * Maintain and optimize the company’s information assets. * Produce documentation conforming to defined standards for each transformation layer. * Participate in Analytics CoE planning, tracking, and retrospective sessions. **Requirements:** * Graduate, Bachelor’s, or Technical degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 4 years of experience in Data Engineering. * Programming languages: Python/Spark – Intermediate level (Mandatory). * SQL – Intermediate/Advanced level (Mandatory). * Familiarity with data tools such as SQL Server, OLAP cubes, Analysis & Integration Services, Python, and R. * Experience migrating data and processes to cloud platforms, preferably AWS (Mandatory). * Knowledge of AWS services (DMS, S3, AWS Glue, RedShift, EMR, Lambda, SQS, Step Functions, CloudFormation, Athena, AppFlow, EventBridge, DynamoDB) – Intermediate level (Desirable). * Git proficiency (Mandatory). * Visualization tools: Power BI (Mandatory). * Salesforce knowledge (Loyalty Cloud, Service Cloud, Customer Data Platform) – (Desirable). * Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps (Desirable).
