Job Summary: Supports the Diesel Mechanical Technician in component evaluation, calibration, maintenance, and field services, ensuring documentation and traceability of all services. Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical support in diesel and hydraulic mechanics 2. Evaluation and diagnosis of components 3. Maintenance of tools and work environment Responsible for supporting the Diesel Mechanical Technician in evaluation, calibration, component maintenance and/or field services, component assembly, and maintaining documentation and traceability of performed services. \* Evaluate components jointly with the Diesel Mechanical Technician, prioritizing service attention based on arrival order, urgency, service complexity, and other criteria jointly determined to ensure overall progress of the Diesel Service Workshop activities. \* Support the preparation of technical reports, including background information on parts and components to be replaced, providing a diagnosis of the root cause of the failure. \* Disassemble hydraulic components from equipment and machinery of lower complexity, as specified in the corresponding work order. \* Maintain order and cleanliness in the work environment, keeping tools and instruments in optimal working condition. \* Assist in conducting functional tests on repaired components at the test bench. \* Support the Technician in accurately diagnosing and detecting mechanical and hydraulic failures in the field, as required by customers. \* Generate a list of parts and components to be replaced, including their respective codes, for validation by the Workshop Supervisor and forwarding to Service Administration for quotation. \* Safeguard assigned tools and ensure their proper use to maximize service life. \* Attend assigned field assignments, optimizing time spent on such activities.
