DESCRIPTION Our client is a **leading banking sector company**, with one of the largest and most complex technology operations in the market. They seek to hire a **Technology Architect** specialized in Cloud and Infrastructure for their Technology Center of Excellence, as part of their enterprise multicloud strategy. This is a pure architecture role with high technical influence: you will design cloud environments for critical platforms, define the standards adopted across the broader technology organization, and lead the organization’s FinOps agenda. ### **Position Objective** Design, implement, and evolve cloud architectures and environments on Azure and AWS, ensuring availability, security, scalability, and cost efficiency; and identify and enable FinOps initiatives across the company’s cloud services and environments. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Design and implement architectures using **Azure and/or AWS** cloud services, considering availability, security, scalability, and cost optimization. * Design and implement application architectures on **Kubernetes**. * Provide technical leadership for **cloud cost optimization initiatives and the FinOps strategy**. * Design **end-to-end observability architectures** from scratch for cloud and containerized environments. * Automate infrastructure provisioning and lifecycle management using **Infrastructure as Code**. * Integrate **on-premise platforms with public cloud** in enterprise environments via dedicated connections. REQUIREMENTS ### **Requirements** * **More than 6 years** of experience in designing, implementing, and operating cloud and hybrid platforms. * Solid experience with **AWS and/or Azure**, including hands-on use of core services: compute, storage, networking, load balancers, dedicated connectivity, and identity. * Proven experience in **enterprise multicloud environments**, integrating on-premise infrastructure with public cloud via dedicated connections (**Direct Connect, ExpressRoute**). * Administration of **Kubernetes** and/or **OpenShift**, and design of container-based application architectures. * Design and implementation of **observability solutions** using **Grafana, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry**, and/or **Dynatrace**, including end-to-end architectures built from scratch. * Infrastructure automation and deployment using **Terraform** and/or **Ansible**, covering the full lifecycle of resources (compute, storage, managed databases, secrets, environment variables). * Experience leading **cloud cost optimization initiatives under FinOps principles**, including optimization of CPU, memory, and storage consumption in cloud and containerized platforms. * **University professional degree** (Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, or related fields). Master’s degrees are not required. * **Certifications:** Solutions Architect (Azure and/or AWS) and **Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)**. ### **Key Competencies** * Architectural thinking: technical decisions that balance availability, security, cost, and delivery speed. * Technical leadership without hierarchical authority: influencing and aligning development and infrastructure teams. * Communicating technical decisions to non-technical audiences, including the economic impact of architecture. * Autonomy and results orientation toward measurable outcomes (efficiency, savings, uptime).
