Job Summary: Clínica Providencia is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support food preparation, cooking, and service while maintaining high hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assistance in pre-preparation and cutting of ingredients for various preparations. 2. Preparation and service of food according to dietary prescriptions and portion sizes. 3. Continuous maintenance of cleanliness and order in the work area. Clínica Providencia is looking for top talent to join its nutrition team in the position of **Kitchen Assistant**. ***Responsibilities:*** * Select and verify the condition of ingredients prior to preparation. * Assist in pre-preparation and cutting of ingredients for various corresponding preparations. * Prepare food items according to dietary prescriptions in the absence of the chef. * Serve food for distribution. * Assist in distributing meals to nutrition assistants for patient care in hospitalization services. * Prepare and serve snacks for on-duty staff according to requested portion sizes, as per the registration form. * Perform daily and continuous cleaning of the work area and wash utensils used in food preparation on a daily basis. * Participate in the maintenance and proper use of the facility, equipment, and work materials, reporting any malfunctions. * Maintain a clean and orderly environment, complying with hygiene procedures. * Participate in pest prevention and control. * Ensure proper maintenance and usage of work equipment and materials. * Report any damage or breakage to the Nutritionist for repair or replacement. * Daily register and update the Food Control Kardex and control forms. ***Requirements:*** * Minimum 6 months of experience as a kitchen assistant, preferably in clinics or hospitals. * Completed secondary education. * Basic knowledge of Good Food Handling Practices (desirable). * Availability to work Monday through Sunday (with one rotating day off per week), 48 hours per week, in the district of San Miguel. * Ability to obtain a health certificate. ***Benefits:*** * Compensation of 1300 to 1500 soles. * Formal employment registration with all statutory benefits from the first day of work. * Bi-weekly and timely payments. * Discounts on medical services at the clinic for you and your immediate family. * Access to corporate discounts.
