Job Summary: We are seeking a responsible and committed Lathe Operator to manufacture and machine metal parts on conventional lathes, verifying dimensions and complying with safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manufacturing and machining of metal parts according to drawings 2. Handling measuring instruments and reading mechanical drawings 3. Basic lathe maintenance and compliance with safety regulations A metalworking company is currently seeking an experienced **Lathe Operator**. We are looking for a responsible, committed individual residing in **Chorrillos or nearby districts**. **Requirements:** * Minimum 2 years of experience operating conventional lathes. * Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings. * Proficiency in using measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers, and dial indicators). * Knowledge of machining shafts, bushings, flanges, threads, and other metal parts. * Prior experience in metalworking companies is preferred. **Responsibilities:** * Manufacture and machine metal parts on conventional lathes according to drawings and technical specifications. * Perform turning, facing, threading, grooving, and drilling operations. * Verify dimensions and tolerances of machined parts. * Prepare, mount, and adjust tools and materials for machining. * Perform basic lathe maintenance and maintain an organized workplace. * Comply with quality standards and safety regulations.
