Position Summary: We are seeking a highly qualified QA/QC Manager to lead Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) for a mining project involving earthworks and tailings dam raising. Key Highlights: 1. Technical leadership of the CQA service on site. 2. Constant coordination with the client and contractor. 3. Review and approval of quality protocols and reports. **Position:** CQA Manager (1 vacancy) We are seeking a highly qualified professional to lead Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) for a major earthworks and tailings dam raising project for a prominent mining company. Professional Profile **Academic Qualifications:** Degree-holding and licensed professional in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Mining Engineering, or related fields. **General Experience:** Minimum 8 years of proven experience in the sector. **Specific Experience:** Direct involvement in supervision or CQA for tailings dam raises and earthworks projects. Solid experience in reviewing and interpreting engineering studies and technical documentation for CQA services in geotechnical and tailings projects. Experience conducting Feasibility Analyses. **Desirable Knowledge:** Postgraduate diploma or specialization in Geotechnics, Quality Control for Earthworks, or Tailings Storage Facilities. Residence in Arequipa **Driver's License:** Category A1 (desirable but not mandatory). ️ Functions and Responsibilities **Technical Leadership:** Provide technical direction for the CQA service during project execution. **Management and Communication:** Serve as the liaison and coordinate constantly with the client and the contracting company. **Quality Control:** Review, validate, and approve the project’s quality protocols and reports. **Supervision:** Ensure strict adherence to the work plan and established standards. **Project Close-out:** Prepare, structure, and consolidate the final project quality dossier.
