Abbott is seeking an EHS Analyst to implement and maintain the Safety, Health, and Environment Management System within the EPD division in Lince.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Advise on incident and accident investigations.
2. Develop and monitor EHS Management programs.

**The Opportunity**
This position is located at the Lince site within the EPD (Established Pharmaceutical Products) division. Our broad portfolio of high-quality, differentiated branded generic medicines spans multiple therapeutic areas, including gastroenterology, women’s health, cardiometabolic, pain management / central nervous system, and respiratory.
As an **EHS ANALYST**, you will be responsible for executing the implementation and maintenance of the Safety, Health, and Environment Management System across your respective support areas to sustainably achieve prevention objectives.
**ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:**
**REPORTS TO:** Coordinator and Specialist, Occupational Health, Safety and Environment
**COORDINATES WITH:** Supervisors, Operations, Finance, Operational Excellence, Maintenance, and Quality.
**What You’ll Do:**
* Advise area leaders during incident and accident investigations regarding the definition of corrective and preventive actions, as well as verification of their closure.
* Develop EHS Management programs for each supported area, drawing from sources such as audits and legal compliance assessments, statistical analysis, A3 operations, EHS self-assessments, internal and external audits, IPER (Initial Process Evaluation and Risk), inspections by competent authorities, corporate EHS objectives, occupational hygiene studies, and other diagnostics.
* Monitor the execution of EHS legal compliance improvement plans and report monthly progress through the management program.
* Review EHS change controls with area leaders and verify during monthly reviews and internal audits that changes are implemented following a risk assessment.
* Support periodic internal audits of plant processes and critical EHS suppliers to evaluate the performance level of the EHS Management System and propose improvement plans.
* Process and oversee preventive management indicators (e.g., order and cleanliness, planned inspections and observations, incidents, accident causality, etc.) as well as impact indicators (e.g., IS, IF, number of reportable incidents), ensuring that action plans and commitment dates remain updated in corporate systems Quick Base and Action Management, as well as in the local tracking matrix.
**Required Qualifications:**
* Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety and Health Engineering, Industrial Hygiene and Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, and/or Environmental Engineering
* Intermediate proficiency in computer and presentation tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
* Desired: knowledge of Power BI
* Intermediate-to-advanced English language proficiency
* Desired: courses related to Industrial Safety and Hygiene
* Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions
* Availability to work at our Lince plant site
