Position Summary: Cost and Budget Analyst responsible for formulating, controlling, and analyzing operational and capital budgets, as well as optimizing processes and managing BI tools. Manage BI tools and train users on SAP **Date:** May 12, 2026 **Location:** 08 \- HUANCAVELICA, PE **\#job\-location.job\-location\-inline { display:** inline; } **Company:** Buenaventura At Buenaventura, we are seeking a Cost and Budget Analyst – Mining Unit: **Key Responsibilities:** Formulate the mining unit’s OPEX and CAPEX budgets in the respective information systems Generate monthly budget forecasts. Generate monthly cost control reports. Conduct trend and variance analysis of costs, cost drivers, and productivity KPIs. Perform economic evaluations of optimization and operational improvement projects. Analyze unit cost structures. Administer the BI data analytics tool and develop reports for all departments. Manage budget supplements and transfers within the system. Train users on SAP and BI tools. Prepare presentations for cost committees and planning sessions. **Professional Profile:** Graduate in Mining Engineering and/or Industrial Engineering. Minimum two years of experience in this or similar roles; experience in the mining sector is preferred. Advanced knowledge of pivot tables, data cubes, and BI tools **SAP modules knowledge preferred:** FICO, FM, and PS. Experience in valuation of mining contractors is desirable.
