### **About the Position**
We are seeking a Customs Clearance Coordinator to lead and ensure the proper execution of our Customs Agency operations, guaranteeing compliance with customs regulations, service quality, and agreed timelines for our customers.
The candidate will be responsible for supervising and controlling daily operations, identifying improvement opportunities, managing incidents, and maintaining effective coordination with customers, customs authorities, inland terminals, ports, airports, shipping lines, and other stakeholders involved in operations.
### **Key Responsibilities**
* Supervise and monitor Customs Agency operations, ensuring quality, compliance, and efficiency.
* Manage customer requirements and promptly resolve operational incidents.
* Coordinate procedures and formalities with inland terminals, ports, airports, shipping and air lines, and their agents.
* Ensure compliance with current customs legislation, procedures, and regulations.
* Review and validate information entered into relevant systems and platforms.
* Monitor payments, invoices, collection settlements, due dates, and documentation related to various customs regimes.
* Track notifications, inspections, and situations requiring operational intervention.
* Keep processes updated in accordance with changes in customs legislation.
* Identify improvement opportunities and propose practices contributing to operational efficiency.
* Define and monitor management indicators and operational KPIs.
* Maintain effective relationships with customs authorities, international trade operators, and other stakeholders.
* Guide and support the team, promoting best practices and high service standards.
### **What We Are Looking For**
* Minimum 5 years of prior experience in Customs Agencies, customs operations, or similar roles.
* Experience managing various customs regimes.
* Solid knowledge of Peruvian customs legislation and procedures.
* Familiarity with customs management platforms and systems such as SINTAD, SUNAT, and VUCE.
* Experience coordinating with customers, authorities, inland terminals, ports, airports, and international trade operators.
* Ability to lead, coordinate, and monitor teams and operations.
* Customer orientation, problem-solving ability, and results-driven mindset.
* Strong organizational, analytical, and follow-up skills.
