At SUMAC, we are seeking a professional to serve as an IT Analyst.
Responsibilities:
* Address hardware and software incidents on computers, printers, phones, and other devices.
* Install, configure, and update operating systems and applications.
* Provide on-site and remote assistance to staff.
* Diagnose and repair failures in computing equipment and peripherals.
* Perform preventive maintenance (cleaning, updates, backups).
* Manage equipment and spare parts inventory.
* Control software inventory and active licenses.
* Monitor license expiration dates and renew subscriptions.
* Verify compliance with legal software usage regulations.
* Create, modify, and deactivate users in systems, email accounts, and applications.
* Configure permissions for shared folders, VPNs, and other internal platforms.
* Monitor antivirus, firewall, and security update usage.
* Restrict access to websites or social media platforms.
* Configure and maintain LAN/WiFi networks, routers, switches, and connectivity devices.
* Support integration of printers and networked devices.
* Coordinate with internet service providers to resolve connectivity issues.
* Schedule and supervise automated backups of critical data.
* Execute data recovery plans in case of incidents.
* Propose improvements to security and business continuity policies.
* Maintain equipment inventory (computers, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals).
* Document procedures and solutions to standardize support.
* Coordinate IT procurement and vendor contracts.
Requirements:
\- Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields.
\- Specialization or certification in IT Management, Digital Transformation, or Continuous Improvement is desirable.
\- Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing or administering IT departments or projects.
\- Experience implementing digital transformation, process automation, or continuous improvement projects.
\- Experience administering technological infrastructures (servers, networks, databases, information security).
\- Operating system administration (Windows, Linux, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) \- Cybersecurity and access management.
\- Network, server, and storage administration.
