Position Summary: We are seeking a proactive, results-oriented Functional Analyst to join our multidisciplinary team, working under agile methodologies in the software development sector. Collaboration in client-facing analysis and expectation management **IT FUNCTIONAL ANALYST** At **Novit**, a continuously growing company in the technology and **software development** sector, we are looking for interns for the **Functional Analyst** role to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate is **proactive, results-oriented, and possesses effective communication skills**, capable of working under **agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban)** and coordinating with **Development and QA teams**. **REQUIREMENTS:** * **Bachelor's degree or graduate** in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. * **1\-2 years of experience** as a Functional Analyst, Business Analyst, or Functional QA. **NOT EXCLUSIVE** * Desired knowledge in: * UML/BPMN. * QA/functional testing processes. **COMPETENCIES:** Communication with non-technical users, analytical thinking, organization and multitasking, customer orientation, autonomy. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** 1\. **Project backlog management** Elicit, document, and maintain user stories / requirements with clear acceptance criteria. Prioritize the backlog jointly with the client and technical lead based on value, urgency, dependencies, and estimated effort. Refine and break down large requirements into deliverable units before each sprint. Maintain traceability from client request → requirement → development → deployment. Update item status and report progress, blockers, and risks. 2\. **Help Desk / functional support** Handle and log user incidents and inquiries in the ticketing system. Classify by type (incident, inquiry, enhancement), severity, and priority; apply response and resolution SLAs. Perform first-level analysis: reproduce the issue, review data and logs, distinguish between user error and actual defect. Escalate to the development team with fully documented cases (steps, evidence, environment, impact) and follow up until closure. Validate solutions with users and populate a knowledge base with recurring cases. 3\. **Development of functional documentation** Write functional specifications: objective, scope, actors, business rules, main and alternate flows, validations, and messages. Create process and flow diagrams, role and permission matrices, and field/structure definitions where applicable. Document use cases and test scenarios serving as the basis for QA. Prepare user manuals and training materials. Version and keep documentation updated upon approved changes. 4\. **Client analysis meetings** Prepare agendas and pre-meeting materials; facilitate requirement elicitation and analysis sessions. Translate business needs into requirements understandable by the technical team, and vice versa. Identify impacts, dependencies, and risks before committing to scope. Draft meeting minutes with agreements, responsible parties, and deadlines; track commitments.
