Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Quarry Supervisor to oversee daily mining operations, coordinate mining plans, and ensure safety and quality in calcium oxide production. Ensures compliance with safety standards and material quality requirements. A well-established company dedicated to the production and commercialization of calcium oxide is looking for a **Quarry Supervisor in Huamachuco** to join our team. **Requirements:** * Degree in Mining Engineering and/or professional registration * Minimum 3 years of experience in mine operations, including both open-pit and underground mining * Knowledge of Integrated Management Systems **Desirable specialization or training:** * **Quarry exploitation processes:** open-pit mining methods, drilling, blasting, loading, and transportation. * **Operation and control of heavy equipment:** excavators, front-end loaders, dump trucks, drill rigs, and crushers. * **Basic mechanics and preventive maintenance** of mining machinery. * **Production planning and control**, management of operational indicators and costs. * **Interpretation of topographic and geological maps.** * **Volume calculation and operational performance assessment.** * **Explosives management and blasting techniques**, including ANFO formulation and safety regulations. **Responsibilities:** * Supervise daily activities of extraction, drilling, blasting, loading, transportation, and crushing of material. * Coordinate execution of the mining plan according to approved designs and sequences. * Monitor production indicators (tons extracted, equipment productivity, operational time, etc.). * Verify machinery condition and availability, requesting preventive or corrective maintenance as required. * Ensure continuous material supply to the crushing plant or subsequent processes. * Comply with and enforce company-established occupational health and safety standards, as well as current legal regulations. * Participate in daily safety meetings and promote a preventive culture among staff. * Inspect work areas to identify and control unsafe conditions and acts. * Supervise proper waste management, emission control, and fulfillment of environmental commitments. * Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on production progress, consumables usage, and performance metrics. * Support blast scheduling, explosives stock control, and related materials management. * Coordinate with maintenance and logistics departments to ensure equipment and supply availability. * Participate in the preparation of the quarry’s annual operating budget. * Ensure produced material meets required quality specifications. * Propose technical and operational improvements to optimize production processes. * Participate in implementing continuous improvement programs and cost reduction initiatives. **Benefits:** * Formal employment under the General Regime. * All statutory benefits.
