Preparation of reports and budget monitoring. **Position Profile** **JUNIOR PLANNING AND CONTROL ANALYST** **Position Objective** Provide support in the company's planning, financial analysis, and financial control through report preparation, budget monitoring, financial information analysis, and support in evaluating the economic performance of projects and business units, thereby contributing to management decision-making. **Academic Qualifications** * Bachelor’s degree or graduate in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Specialization or courses in Corporate Finance, Management Control, Financial Planning, or Business Intelligence (desirable). * Experience in Planning and Control for consulting, engineering, and construction projects. * Basic knowledge of IFRS and financial analysis. **Work Experience** * Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Financial Planning, Management Control, Corporate Finance, or related areas. * Experience in preparing financial reports and budget monitoring. * Experience in engineering, construction, consulting, or service companies is desirable. * Knowledge of cost center and budget management. **Technical Skills** * Financial Planning (FP\&A) – Intermediate level. * Budget preparation and monitoring. * Forecasting. * Budgetary control. * Cost analysis. * Intermediate/Advanced Excel (PivotTables, macros, functions; Power Query desirable). * Power BI (basic or intermediate level, desirable). * ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Odoo, or similar) – desirable. **Competencies** * Analytical ability. * Results orientation. * Organization and planning. * Attention to detail. * Effective communication. * Teamwork. * Proactivity. * Adaptability. * Confidentiality. **Specific Responsibilities** * Support in preparing and consolidating the company’s annual budget. * Monitor the budget and control monthly variances. * Prepare periodic financial reports for Management. * Support in developing financial forecasts (Forecast). * Analyze variances between budgeted and actual results. * Monitor costs and expenses by cost centers and projects. * Support profitability analysis by project and business unit. * Develop financial indicators (KPIs) and update control dashboards. * Support in controlling the projected cash flow. * Prepare information for financial review meetings. * Coordinate with Accounting to validate information for monthly closings. * Support automation and improvement of reports using Excel and Power BI. * Support internal and external audits. * Support preparation and monitoring of budgets across various company departments. * Identify opportunities to improve financial control processes. * Other duties inherent to the position as assigned by the Head of Administration \& Finance.
