QA Analyst

Job Summary: We are seeking a Systems Engineer or related professional with experience in the software development lifecycle, agile methodologies, and software testing to analyze requirements, execute tests, and ensure product quality. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies. 2. Knowledge of software testing: functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). 3. Analytical skills, attention to detail, and clear communication. Education in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. Knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Proficiency in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Knowledge of software testing: functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). Desirable knowledge of test automation tools (Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JMeter, etc.). Basic SQL reading ability and understanding of APIs (REST). Analyze functional and technical requirements. Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios. Define acceptance criteria jointly with the team. Execute manual and/or automated tests. Validate new features, bug fixes, and enhancements. Perform regression testing before each release. Identify, log, and track defects/bugs. Verify fixes for reported issues. Prioritize incidents based on impact and criticality. Document test results. Prepare product quality reports. Maintain up-to-date test evidence. Coordinate with developers to resolve incidents. Support user acceptance testing (UAT). Ensure compliance with quality standards. Propose improvements to testing processes. Uphold best practices in quality assurance. Participate in retrospectives and agile meetings. Analytical and critical thinking. High attention to detail. Clear communication with users, developers, and business areas. Organization and time management. Ability to document and follow processes.
