Position Summary: We are seeking a Purchasing Assistant to manage market supply procurement, purchase order issuance and tracking, and supplier control for a supermarket chain. Key Responsibilities: 1. Market supply procurement analysis and execution 2. Continuous coordination and follow-up with suppliers 3. Sourcing new suppliers to optimize quality and price A corporation with over 30 years in the market is currently seeking a Purchasing Assistant for its supermarket chain; we invite you to participate in our selection process. **Responsibilities:** * Analyze and execute purchases for supermarkets to ensure proper supply. * Issue, process, and record Purchase Orders in the Inventory System, coordinating with suppliers. * Conduct continuous follow-up on generated orders to ensure timely supply of goods. * Monitor agreed-upon prices with suppliers and promptly report any changes or adjustments. * Request quotations from suppliers, analyze them, prepare comparative tables, generate and send purchase and/or service orders. * Identify new suppliers offering better terms to enhance organizational performance in quality, quantity, and price. * Manage supplier payments. * Forecast purchasing requirements based on sales projections. * Perform other duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor. **Requirements:** * Technical or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field. * Courses / Diplomas in procurement and/or logistics (preferred). * Intermediate Excel proficiency. * Minimum 1 year of experience in procurement. Working Hours: * Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 6:00 PM; Saturdays, 8:30 AM to 1:00 PM. * On-site work mode. * Main office located in Surco.
