Job Summary: We are seeking a Metallurgist to conduct pilot testing of metallurgical equipment and systems, mineral classification, and training for customers and sales staff. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead pilot testing of metallurgical equipment and systems. 2. Conduct mineral classification and comminution tests. 3. Train oneself and customers on metallurgical equipment. We are a Peruvian company representing globally recognized manufacturers of equipment and components, as well as heavy-industry applicable equipment. We are currently seeking a Metallurgist. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor's or Licentiate degree in Metallurgy. * Minimum 3 years of experience in similar metallurgical positions. * Willingness to travel to provinces. * Advanced Excel proficiency. * Intermediate English proficiency. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Conduct pilot testing of metallurgical equipment and systems promoted and sold by the company at the Chilca facility. * Perform classification tests using high-frequency vibrating screens, classification tests using ALPHA hydrocyclones, and mineral comminution tests using HPSA pilot plants. * Timely self-train on ZAF Derrick, ALPHA hydrocyclones, and DISA HPSA systems topics. * Carry out assigned tasks following testing protocols, sample collection procedures, and laboratory metallurgical treatment for determining % solids and particle size distribution. * Receive customer mineral samples in cylinders and store them appropriately in the WRC until testing is conducted. * Collect solid waste at the end of tests and return it to customers or dispose of it properly, avoiding potential environmental damage. * Attend to customers visiting the Chilca facilities, including guided tours of pilot plants and live demonstrations so customers can observe how our equipment operates and how their work is affected under specific operating conditions. * Self-train on the company’s commercial topics—especially all products related to metallurgical processes involving grinding \- pulp classification—to undergo an induction phase including technical sessions on various subjects. * Support RPT sales staff in managing metallurgical equipment sales. * Promote sales of mining \- metallurgical equipment and systems; therefore, travel to mines alongside the company’s commercial staff to promote equipment sales projects managed by the company. * Provide technical training to RPT sales staff and customers on proper use of the metallurgical equipment and systems we offer, as well as maintenance practices and timely replacement of wear parts. **BENEFITS:** * Full payroll registration. * Profit-sharing. * Positive work environment. * Workplace: Chilca workshop (90%) and Surquillo offices (10%). * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
