At **Recreativos Fargo**, we are seeking an **Import Assistant** to support international procurement, logistics coordination, and tracking of import operations for our textile business. Position Objective Manage and track procurement and import processes for raw materials, inputs, and products required by various departments, ensuring compliance with delivery timelines, costs, technical specifications, and commercial and customs regulations. Requirements * Graduate, technician, or bachelor’s degree in International Business, Foreign Trade, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * Minimum 1 year of experience in imports, international procurement, foreign trade, or international logistics. * Knowledge of the import process, commercial documentation, and customs procedures. * Familiarity with Incoterms, logistics costs, cargo types, and maritime and air transportation modes. * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel. * Experience preparing and reviewing purchase orders, proformas, commercial invoices, technical specifications, and shipping documents. * Willingness to work onsite in Pueblo Libre. Responsibilities * Manage and control domestic and international procurement processes in coordination with immediate supervisors. * Fulfill requests for products, raw materials, and inputs from various departments. * Request, review, and compare supplier quotations, verifying prices, specifications, delivery timelines, and commercial terms. * Request and submit technical specifications, samples, and product documentation for review and approval. * Manage approvals for proformas, purchase orders, and supplier advance payments. * Conduct end-to-end tracking of each import, from order placement to final delivery. * Monitor production status, dispatch, shipment, and arrival of imported products. * Coordinate maritime and air shipments with freight forwarders, logistics operators, and customs agents. * Analyze import costs, freight charges, insurance, duties, warehousing, and other associated expenses. Considerations * **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.; Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. * **Work Modality:** Onsite. * **Location:** Pueblo Libre. * **Inclusion in the General Payroll.** * **Benefits as per applicable law.** Salary: S/.2,800.00 – S/.3,000.00 per month Work Location: Onsite employment
