Job Summary:
Occupational Health and Safety Assistant to support the implementation and maintenance of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System, managing occupational health and conducting supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System
2. Development of occupational health and safety training materials and delivery of training sessions
3. Occupational health management and follow-up of medical examinations
We are **GW Logistics**, a company dedicated to providing logistics services for the distribution of fast-moving consumer goods. We are currently seeking Warehouse Operators for fixed shifts and are now looking for an Occupational Health and Safety Assistant.
Requirements:
* University graduate or bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
* Knowledge of implementing the Occupational Health and Safety Management System according to applicable laws and regulations.
* Knowledge of occupational health and safety management and first aid response, and/or paramedic certification.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
* Must reside in districts adjacent to Lurin.
Responsibilities:
* Support maintaining up-to-date and organized documentation for the Occupational Health and Safety Management System.
* Develop training materials and deliver occupational health and safety training.
* Conduct occupational health and safety inductions for new staff and record corresponding onboarding documentation.
* Prepare and deliver 5-minute safety talks to all warehouse personnel.
* Manage the company’s occupational health through monitoring and control of Occupational Medical Examinations.
* Implement all corrective and preventive actions assigned based on conclusions from accident and incident investigations.
* Propose continuous improvement tools to strengthen the Occupational Health and Safety department.
* Facilitate compliance with the Occupational Health and Safety Management System across the entire company.
* Maintain properly controlled, valid, up-to-date, and securely stored occupational health and safety records.
* Support preparation and coordination of emergency response teams.
* Perform field supervision duties and identify occupational health and safety or operational deviations occurring at facilities.
* Conduct monthly inspections of personal protective equipment.
* Manage reporting of unsafe acts and conditions identified during operations.
* Other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Working Hours:
* Monday\- Saturday: 8:00 AM \- 5:00 PM
