




Job Summary: BBVA seeks a professional to support the development, validation, and monitoring of risk models, collaborate on reports, and ensure the proper performance of tools. Our people make the difference in our success. **Contract Type:** Regular (Undefined) **What Are We Looking For?** **Responsibilities:** * Support the development of the annual reporting and activity plan, coordinated with local units or the Holding. * Support the preparation of internal validation reports, issuing an analytical, critical, and independent opinion on the construction, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance processes of Risk Models, as well as on the use testing or integration into the management of these models; performing, as appropriate, full replication of the model or tool, aligned with the Internal Validation Standard, and issuing recommendations for identified weaknesses. Alignment with internal and regulatory standards is required. * Apply indicators, triggers, and performance standards for models and/or risk tools, used to evaluate their performance. * Collaborate in preparing conclusions, limitations, suggestions, and recommendations for the bank's Risk Models and/or tools, based on portfolio analysis and studies derived from internal validation reports. * Support the evaluation and opinion, as applicable, regarding model re-estimation, model changes, and development of new models to ensure correct risk management and measurement, according to results and conclusions from internal validation reports. * Support periodic follow-up on the resolution of recommendations issued in Internal Validation Reports. * Participate in relevant Area committees and support presenting the Internal Validation opinion. * Support the technical secretariat function of the RMMC Model Committee. * Support the application of standards, policies, manuals, procedures, and other documents involved in the proper execution of the Internal Validation function. * Provide support in responding to the local regulator, European regulator, auditors, and other entities on matters related to BBVA Peru’s Risk Model validation. * Other responsibilities assigned by your immediate supervisor and promote continuous improvement of the role. **Requirements:** * **Experience:** 1–2 years in **risk model validation** (risk estimators, parameters). * **Education:** Graduates in Statistics, Economics, or Industrial Engineering. * **Sectors:** Preference for **Banking or Insurance** (handling large volumes of data). * **Technical Skills:** Python and SQL (intermediate level). * **Critical Thinking:** You do not merely process information—you question and evaluate it. * **Effective Communication:** Ability to translate technical concepts into accessible language. * **Collaboration:** Results-oriented and excellent teamwork skills. **Responsible Banking** --------------------- Our responsible banking model **aims to build a more inclusive and sustainable society.** Because the future of finance is financing the future.
