Rigorous control of expiration dates and product rotation Demand Planning Analyst **REQUIREMENTS** * Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, International Business, or related fields. * Supply Chain certification (e.g., APICS / CPIM) or demand management certification (preferred). * Advanced Excel (pivot tables, macros, Power Query) and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI or Tableau). * Minimum 2–3 years of experience in demand planning, inventory control, or supply chain roles. * Experience in Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Perishable Food companies is highly valued. **COMPETENCIES** * Ability to transform large volumes of numerical data into commercial strategies. * Balancing conflicting objectives (Sales wants to sell more; Finance wants lower inventory). * Tolerance for sudden market demand shifts or unexpected stock losses. * Rigorous control of expiration dates and rotation of perishable products. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Build historical demand models for each SKU. * Adjust forecasts for short-life versus long-life products. * Identify and eliminate past sales anomalies (stockouts or unusual spikes). * Collaborate with Marketing and Sales to calculate demand uplift from promotions. * Design forecasts for new flavors or packaging formats using analysis of similar products. * Identify low-turnover batches before their expiry date. * Define optimal inventory levels based on demand volatility per channel. * Coordinate weekly and monthly with Sales, Finance, and Operations. * Align commercial forecasts with actual production plant capacity. * Analyze forecast bias to correct persistent over- or under-estimations. * Monitor Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) to refine mathematical models. * Ensure product availability to avoid penalties. **WORKING CONDITIONS:** * Formal employment contract from day one, including all statutory benefits. * Working hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 6 PM. * 98% meal coverage. * Positive work environment.
