We are a global mining and metallurgical company belonging to the Votorantim Group (Brazil). Over time, we have grown, reinvented ourselves, and consolidated our position as one of the world’s leading zinc producers.
We operate 8 sites across Brazil and Peru—3 refineries and 5 mines—including Peru’s largest underground zinc mine (Cerro Lindo) and the largest zinc refinery in the Americas (Cajamarquilla). As a result, we account for 4% of global zinc production and are the sole producer of refined zinc in Latin America, excluding Mexico. We also produce copper, lead, silver, and gold as co-products.
We focus on making minerals available to improve people’s lives, responsibly caring for the environment and society, and developing careers grounded in respect for pluralism.
This is how we develop mining—always attuned to change, with committed, inspired, and continuously developing people.
Because there is one thing that never changes at Nexa: our commitment to change.
Nexa. Mining that changes with the world.
