Flexible and dynamic work within a growing team **PYTHON DATA ANALYSIS INSTRUCTOR** **100% Remote** **ECONODATA SOLUCIONES PERU EIRL (ECONODATA CORPORATION)** is looking to incorporate into its team an expert professional in Statistics to support **ECONODATA CORPORATION** (through its academic division **ECONODATA INSTITUTE**) in delivering, providing methodological guidance for, and evaluating students enrolled in the ***Python Data Analysis Specialization Program***. **Position Requirements**: * **Academic Qualification:** Degree holder with solid background in Statistics, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields. * **Experience:** Minimum 1 year proven experience as an instructor, statistical consultant, or senior analyst advisor/executive with Python. **Technical Knowledge:** **A. Analytical Python (Advanced)** * **Syntax and Logic:** Expert use of *List Comprehensions*, dictionaries, custom functions (def), and lambda expressions. **B. SQL Server 2025 and Connectivity** * **Queries:** Writing optimized DML statements (filters, groupings, aggregate functions, and joins). **Ingestion Libraries:** Expert use of pyodbc and SQLAlchemy for data extraction from Python. **Security:** Handling environment variables for secure credentials and database authentication. **C. Power BI and Hybrid Integration** * **Integration:** Executing Python transformation scripts inside Power Query Desktop. **Data Modeling:** Designing and implementing relational data models using Star Schema. **Advanced DAX:** Mastery of context functions and Time Intelligence (CALCULATE, FILTER, SAMEPERIODLASTYEAR). **D. Analytical Automation (Zero\-Touch)** * **Resilience:** Error handling via try\-except blocks and automated generation of *Log* files. **Orchestration:** Deploying unattended executable scripts (.py) using Windows Task Scheduler or *Cron Jobs*. **OOP:** Mastery of Object-Oriented Programming to create reusable classes, methods, and connectors. **Pandas and NumPy:** Advanced manipulation of DataFrames/Series, optimization of data types (dtypes), indexing (loc/iloc), string methods (.str), datetime operations, combinations (merge/join), aggregations (groupby/pivot\_table), and vectorized computation. **Visualization:** Advanced creation and configuration of statistical charts using Matplotlib and Seaborn. **Responsibilities**: * **Academic Planning:** Design the curriculum (syllabus), ensuring modular progression across beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. * **Class Delivery:** Conduct 100% online, live sessions during assigned institutional hours (Saturdays and Sundays, 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.). * **Instructional Material Development:** Prepare datasets (SPSS, Excel, CSV), lab guides, and practical exercises based on real-world research. * **Methodological Advisory and Guidance:** Resolve statistical questions in real time, correct common errors, and teach proper reading and interpretation of software reports. * **Progressive Assessment:** Design and grade integrative projects or workshops per session, midterm exams, and final exams per level. * **Internal Coordination:** Periodically report to Academic Management on student academic progress, attendance, and assessment outcomes. **Benefits**: * **100% Remote Work**: This position allows you to work from anywhere, enjoying flexible working hours. * **Flexible Schedule**: Work will be scheduled for 3 days per week, from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m., on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays—enabling you to combine this role with other activities or projects. * **Competitive Compensation**: Payment per class will be **90 soles** per day (paid monthly based on total sessions delivered). * **Growth Opportunity**: You will join a growing team, with opportunities to participate in additional projects and collaborate with other professionals in the field. * **Project-Based Work**: This is project-based employment, allowing you to know the estimated duration in advance, helping you organize better and propose new courses based on your capacity. **Why Join Us?** At **ECONODATA CORPORATION**, we value talent, dedication, and commitment to teaching.
