Drive change management and best practices At **PALTARUMI**, a leading gold mineral processing plant, we are currently seeking new talent to fill the position of **SENIOR CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT ENGINEER**. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Bachelor's degree in **Metallurgical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Chemical Engineering**, or related fields. * **5+ years of experience** in Continuous Improvement, Operational Excellence, Process Optimization, Cost Management, or similar roles, preferably in mining or industrial sectors. * Specialization or diploma in **Lean Management, Six Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Operations Management**; a related master's degree is desirable. * Demonstrable experience in **Lean, Six Sigma, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), 5S, A3, PDCA, DMAIC, Kaizen, and problem-solving**. * Advanced proficiency in **Excel and statistical analysis**; experience with Minitab, Power BI, Python, or other data analysis tools is desirable. * Technical leadership, analytical thinking, effective communication, and cross-functional influence to interact with operational teams and management levels. * Availability to work under a 9x5 schedule in Paramonga \- Barranca. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Lead **Operational Excellence and Continuous Improvement** initiatives across Leaching, Desorption, Refining, and Flotation processes to enhance productivity, efficiency, and sustainability. * Analyze and optimize **consumption of reagents, water, and operational costs**, identifying cost-saving and technical\-economic improvement opportunities. * Monitor operational, metallurgical, and economic KPIs, identify deviations, and develop action plans focused on results. * Lead improvement projects using **Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, A3, PDCA, DMAIC, and 5S** methodologies, promoting standardization and sustainability of improvements. * Provide cross-functional advisory support to Operations, Maintenance, Metallurgy, and supporting departments, driving change management and adoption of best practices. * Prepare and present executive reports, Balanced Scorecard (BSC) tracking, project progress, savings, risks, and improvement opportunities for managerial decision-making. **BENEFITS:** * 100% company-covered meals and accommodation. * 100% company-covered work uniform laundry service. * Statutory benefits (bonuses, CTS, profit-sharing, and vacation). * Insurance coverage (Essalud, SCTR, and Life Insurance). * 14x7 work schedule. * Birthday Leave. * Commuting transportation from Barranca to the plant. **LOCATION: PARAMONGA \- BARRANCA.** Employment Type: Full-time Application Question(s): * Are you available to start immediately? * What is your salary expectation? * How many years of experience do you have?
