Job Summary: We are seeking an Intermediate Structural Engineer for seismic-resistant analysis and design of buildings, with experience in reinforced concrete, masonry, and steel structures. Our team in Peru is growing, and we are currently recruiting an Intermediate Structural Engineer to join our Minerals \& Metals business line in the Lima office. **About the Role** * Seismic-resistant structural analysis and design of buildings for mining and industrial sectors. Experience in developing projects involving reinforced concrete, masonry, and steel structures. * Ability to prepare and/or review technical documents; review and supervise design drawings; research and/or innovate on topics related to the discipline; analyze reinforced concrete and structural steel structures. Capacity to manage sub-teams or discipline-specific teams. Strong commitment to meeting budgetary and schedule commitments. Accountable for the results of assigned tasks. Timely identification of warning signs related to scope, resources (engineers and designers), schedule, and/or budget. * Understands the relationship between engineering and cost estimation. * Participate in engineering development in alignment with Ausenco’s policies and standards to ensure delivery of required outputs and maintain quality. **About You** * Civil Engineering professional. * 7–10 years of experience in civil engineering consultancy and structural design using ACI, AISC, ASCE, and API (tanks) standards; experience in disciplinary management processes, ensuring comprehensive planning and efficient administration of human and material resources. * Advanced proficiency in English. * Computer Skills / IT: + Word: Advanced + Excel: Advanced + PowerPoint: Advanced + AutoCAD: Intermediate + MS Project: Basic + SAP 2000: Advanced + ETABS: Advanced + SAFE: Advanced + Strand 7: Advanced (desirable) **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth and aim to empower you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
