**What are the main responsibilities of this role?**
* Verify compliance with operational controls established in the IPER matrices for all processes, as well as procedures derived from them.
* Prepare preliminary incident investigation reports, identifying root causes and tracking corrective actions arising from the investigation.
* Monitor the identification and correction of safety findings from work shifts through supervision and inspections.
* Advise on the development and implementation of controls specified in Work Permits (PTW) and Pre-Task Risk Assessments (EPT) for routine, non-routine, and high-risk tasks; and supervise their implementation.
* Conduct inspections related to the Fatal 5\ operational control.
* Execute the inspection plan established for each type of operation.
* Provide advisory support on Occupational Health and Safety matters, and assist in safe work planning across various organizational departments.
* Ensure the delivery of the Safety Talk before commencing work in the operational area. Verify that the Safety Talk record is completed in the appropriate format.
* Prepare shift reports including observed conditions and unsafe acts, incidents occurred, and immediate actions taken to control risk. Complete inspection forms according to your area of intervention or the active safety inspection program.
* Train personnel on Health and Safety (HS). Conduct safety inductions as required by the department.
* Carry out planned activities for monitoring the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (audits, inspections, etc.) as scheduled by the department management.
* Actively participate in hazard identification and risk assessment, as well as in determining operational controls for accident prevention.
* Monitor, during your shift, vessel operations at all berths to ensure proper adherence to safe operating procedures and the Fatal 5\.
* Perform activities to fulfill established actions, plans, and programs.
* Support compilation and collection of information for preparing reports and submissions to authorities regarding all occupational health and safety matters (audits, inspections, labor claims, summary investigations, etc.).
* Audit and document occupational health and safety programs, procedures, and implemented corrective actions, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
* Conduct random inspections in the operational area of contractors to verify documentary and operational compliance with performed work.
**What talent are we looking for?**
* University graduate or bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related fields.
* 3 years’ experience as an HSE Coordinator/Supervisor.
* Experience conducting Incident Investigations.
* Class A1 driver’s license.
