**Job Description**
We are seeking a responsible, organized, proactive, and patient-oriented **Dental Assistant** to join our dental clinic.
The selected candidate will work closely with dentists, providing support during treatments and ensuring that treatment rooms, materials, and instruments are properly prepared before, during, and after each procedure.

**Main Responsibilities**
Dentist Assistance
* Prepare the treatment room and necessary materials before each treatment.
* Assist the dentist during clinical procedures by providing required instruments and materials.
* Prepare and organize instruments according to the planned treatment.
* Anticipate the dentist’s needs during treatment to ensure agile and efficient workflow.
* Prepare dental materials and collaborate in their proper handling and storage.
* Assist in taking and preparing records, photographs, radiographs, or other procedures as appropriate and per the center’s training and protocols.
* Collaborate in general dentistry, surgery, implantology, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry, or other specialties, depending on clinic needs.
Cleaning, Disinfection, and Sterilization
* Perform cleaning, disinfection, and preparation of the treatment room between patients.
* Clean, disinfect, package, and sterilize instruments following established protocols.
* Accurately monitor and record sterilization processes.
* Maintain the treatment room clean, orderly, and ready for the next patient.
* Strictly comply with hygiene, biosafety, and infection prevention protocols.
* Properly manage medical waste according to established procedures.
Material Organization and Inventory Control
* Periodically inspect available materials and instruments in treatment rooms.
* Monitor material stock levels and report replenishment needs.
* Maintain materials, instruments, and equipment properly organized.
* Check expiration dates of materials and medical supplies.
* Prepare necessary materials in advance for scheduled treatments.
* Assist in receiving and organizing dental supply orders.
Patient Care and Accompaniment
* Greet and escort patients to the treatment room.
* Prepare patients before treatment and help them feel comfortable and at ease.
* Provide attentive, friendly, and professional care.
* Explain basic treatment-related recommendations and post-treatment care instructions to patients, following the dentist’s guidance.
* Escort and guide patients upon completion of their appointment.
* Identify and communicate to the dentist any concerns, discomfort, or needs expressed by the patient.
Clinical Organization
* Prepare treatment rooms and materials according to the daily schedule.
* Review scheduled treatments in advance to anticipate each patient’s needs.
* Maintain proper organization of documentation and records related to performed procedures, where applicable.
* Record and report to the team any incidents related to materials, instruments, or equipment.
* Collaborate with reception and administration to ensure smooth scheduling and patient care.
* Maintain open communication with dentists and other team members.
**Candidate Profile**
* Training as a **Nursing Auxiliary Care Technician, Dental Hygienist, or specific Dental Assistant training**, as required for this position.
* Prior experience in dental clinics or practices is preferred.
* Responsible, organized, and meticulous individual.
* Ability to work in a team and follow protocols.
* Strong communication skills and patient interaction ability.

* Experience as a Dental Assistant in private clinics.

* Proficiency in dental practice management software.
* Ability to independently prepare treatment rooms.
* Strong capacity to coordinate effectively with multiple dentists.

Job Objective
The primary objective of the Dental Assistant is to **facilitate the clinical team’s work, ensure each treatment room is fully prepared and in optimal condition, and contribute to every patient receiving safe, efficient, and attentive care.**
Salary: Up to S/.1,500\.00 per month
Work Location: On-site employment
