We Are Hiring! – Kitchen Assistant At the traditional Peruvian and Chinchano restaurant **"La Sazón de Diana Guadalupe"**, we are looking for an experienced **Kitchen Assistant**, passionate about gastronomy and eager to work as part of a team. You will work side-by-side with our Head Chef, supporting the creation of the finest traditional Peruvian flavors. Main Responsibilities * **Direct support to the Head Chef** in preparing ingredients and cooking traditional Peruvian and Chinchano dishes. * **Mise en place:** Cleaning, cutting, and portioning meats, vegetables, and other ingredients. * **Production:** Assisting in preparing bases, dressings, broths, and side dishes. * **Quality control:** Ingredient rotation (FIFO) and verification of food condition. * **Order and cleanliness:** Maintaining a spotless workspace, utensils, and kitchen, complying with food hygiene and safety standards. * **General support:** Addressing last-minute requests during service. Requirements * **Verifiable prior experience** as a kitchen assistant (preferably in traditional Peruvian or seafood restaurants). * Basic knowledge of cutting techniques, food handling, and preservation. * Speed, proactivity, and excellent ability to work under pressure during peak hours. * Strong service attitude, punctuality, and teamwork. Schedule and Days Off * **Workdays:** Tuesday through Sunday. * **Working hours:** 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. * **Day off:** Fixed Monday.
