You will work for the Advisory Group Water & Maritime and Resilience in Latin America. This team comprises approximately 50 professionals, is based in Lima, Peru, and collaborates closely with other offices (the Netherlands, the United Kingdom), excelling across a broad range of services and competencies in climate resilience, water resources, and infrastructure development. We offer our clients—both private and (semi-)governmental—a full suite of services across all project phases: from conception, through master planning, feasibility, and design, to construction supervision. We maintain a strong presence in the Netherlands but operate globally. **What are we looking for in you?** ------------------------ We seek a professional with solid experience in developing, reviewing, and supervising hydraulic tunnel studies and engineering, capable of leading the technical aspects of this specialty and collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams. Requirements: * Professional degree in: Civil Engineering, Hydraulic Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or related fields. * A Master’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering, Water Resources, Tunnel Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Underground Engineering, or related specialties is required. * Minimum of 10 years of professional experience since obtaining the degree. * Specific experience: At least 12 years of documented experience performing roles such as: Tunnel Specialist, Tunnel Engineer, or Tunnel Discipline Lead. * Proven experience participating in: Feasibility studies, definitive studies, preparation of technical files, detailed engineering, supervision of definitive studies, supervision of technical files, and supervision of detailed engineering. * **The experience must have been gained on hydraulic projects involving hydraulic tunnels with the following characteristics: Minimum cumulative length of 10 kilometers and minimum diameter of 2.5 meters.** **What can you expect from us?** ------------------------------------ At Haskoning, we offer you much more than a job—we offer you the chance to be part of a professional project.
