Position Summary: We are seeking a technician with experience operating conventional lathes to perform machining operations, verify dimensions, and make precise adjustments. Key Highlights: 1. Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and using measuring instruments **\- Main Responsibilities** * Interpret mechanical drawings and work orders. * Prepare the machine, tools, and materials. * Perform machining operations: turning, facing, threading, grooving, etc. * Verify dimensions and tolerances using precision measuring instruments. * Perform part adjustments and finishing. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Comply with safety regulations and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. * Assist with basic lathe maintenance. **\- Job Requirements** **\* Education:** * Technician in Production Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields (SENATI or equivalent). **\* Experience:** * 1–3 years operating conventional lathes (CNC experience preferred). **\* Knowledge:** * Reading of mechanical drawings. * Use of measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers). * Cutting parameters and material types. * Industrial safety. **\* Competencies** * Precision and attention to detail. * Responsibility and punctuality. * Teamwork. * Results orientation. * Orderliness and discipline.
