Job Summary: We are seeking an Engineering Assistant to prepare and control drawings, design and calculate components in a metallurgical industry. Key Responsibilities: 1. Preparation of drawings and designs according to customer specifications 2. Control and management of drawings for manufactured parts 3. Calculation of volumes, weights, and machining difficulties for quotations Vulcano Metals S.A.C. is a metallurgical company specializing in casting and machining of copper and bronze spare parts. We are looking for a new team member for the position of ENGINEERING ASSISTANT. REQUIREMENTS: * Technical or higher education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technical Drawing, Industrial Design, or related fields. * Proficiency in AUTOCAD, INVENTOR, and DESIGN CRITERIA. * Knowledge of dimensional metrology. * Basic knowledge of ISO standards (preferred). EXPERIENCE * Minimum 1 year of certified experience in this role or related positions (foundry or metalworking companies). RESPONSIBILITIES: * Preparation of drawings and designs according to customer specifications and requirements. * Receiving drawings provided by the customer. * Maintaining control over drawings of manufactured parts. * Calculating volumes, weights, and machining difficulties for quotations. * Preparing drawings for pattern-making as well as layout drawings according to ISO E standards. * Performing on-site measurements. * Performing any other related and complementary activities associated with the position.
