When you join us, you’ll be part of a global team harnessing the power of scientific testing and data\-driven insights to build a healthier future. **JOB OBJECTIVE** Supervise and control sample preparation activities during the shift, ensuring proper work distribution, batch traceability, and compliance with ALS procedures as well as safety, quality, productivity, and turnaround time (TAT) standards. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** **Operational Supervision** * Assign work and supervise tasks related to sample receipt, drying, crushing, splitting, pulverizing, sieving, and other mechanical preparation activities during the shift. * Verify compliance with procedures, instructions, regulations, operating parameters, and cleaning controls to prevent cross-contamination and loss of traceability. * Monitor production, priorities, and batch progress, reallocating resources when necessary to meet TAT and productivity and quality standards. * Verify order and cleanliness of work areas, as well as safe and efficient equipment usage. **Working at ALS** The ALS team is a diverse and dedicated community united by our passion to make a difference in the world.
