Job Summary: We are seeking a committed Welder / Welding Technician to perform welding and repair work on metal structures and pipelines. Key Responsibilities: 1. Perform welding and repair work on metal structures. 2. Interpret fabrication drawings and welding symbols. 3. Conduct visual quality control and equipment maintenance. **We are looking for you!** At **Water Partners**, we seek a dedicated professional with high-quality standards for the position of **Welder / Welding Technician**. **What are we looking for in you?** * Technical degree in Welding, Metal Construction, Maintenance Mechanics, or related fields. * Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a structural or certified welder in industrial environments. * Valid 4G certification (SMAW, GTAW/TIG, or applicable process). * Solid knowledge of mechanical drawing interpretation, welding symbols (ASME standard), and basic metrology. * Desired experience with oxy-fuel cutting and safety training for hot work. **Your main challenges** * Perform welding and repair work on metal structures and pipelines using SMAW and GTAW processes in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. * Mechanically prepare surfaces for welding, including cleaning, beveling, and alignment of parts. * Interpret fabrication drawings, diagrams, and welding symbols to ensure precise assembly of treatment system components. * Operate welding machines and plasma or oxy-fuel cutting equipment, ensuring proper adjustment before operation. * Conduct visual quality control of weld joints to detect and correct defects such as porosity, undercut, or lack of penetration. * Strictly follow safety procedures for hot work and record material consumption (electrodes, gases, etc.) on work orders. * Perform grinding and finishing of parts, as well as basic maintenance and cleaning of assigned equipment and tools. **What do we offer?** * 100% EPS coverage (primary insured). * All statutory benefits. * Pleasant, inclusive, and respectful work environment. * Location: Cercado de Lima | On-site mode.
