**GRUPO FEY IS SEEKING: IMPORT ASSISTANT**
**Location:** Lima, Peru
At **GRUPO FEY**, we are looking for a highly qualified **Import Assistant**, with extensive experience in the comprehensive management of foreign trade processes.
**Essential Requirements**
* Proven experience managing a minimum of **250 annual imports**.
* Completed technical or university studies in Foreign Trade, International Business, Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
* Advanced knowledge of current customs regulations.
* Experience coordinating with customs brokers, freight forwarders, shipping lines, and international suppliers.
* Proficiency in Incoterms and international logistics processes.
* Expertise in tariff classification and customs valuation.
* Knowledge of import documentation: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading (BL), air waybill (AWB), certificates of origin, and other related documents.
* Experience in goods nationalization and customs clearance tracking.
* Ability to control import costs, freight, insurance, and taxes.
* Proficiency in ERP systems and logistics management tools.
* Intermediate or advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
* Knowledge of inventory management and procurement.
* Negotiation skills with domestic and international suppliers.
* Ability to prepare reports, management indicators, and cost analysis.
* Intermediate or advanced English (preferred).
* High level of organization, responsibility, proactivity, and results orientation.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Plan, coordinate, and supervise the entire import process.
* Manage documentation required for foreign trade operations.
* Coordinate shipments and customs clearances with suppliers and logistics operators.
* Track cargo from origin to final destination.
* Optimize import timeframes and costs.
* Verify compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
* Prepare management reports and logistics indicator analyses.
* Maintain constant communication with suppliers, customs brokers, and internal company departments.
Working Hours
* Monday to Friday: 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
* Saturday: 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
