**Siderúrgica de los Andes S.A.C.** is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of **Production Manager**, responsible for planning, supervising, and optimizing the plant's production processes, ensuring compliance with production schedules, quality standards, safety, costs, and delivery timelines.
**Position Objective**
Ensure efficient execution of the production schedule by optimizing available resources, guaranteeing product quality, and promoting continuous improvement in the manufacturing processes of metal structures.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Plan, develop, and supervise the weekly production schedule according to established requirements and timelines.
* Supervise manufacturing, assembly, and production processes for metal structures.
* Coordinate with Engineering, Logistics, Quality, and other involved departments to ensure uninterrupted production.
* Supervise and lead operational staff, monitoring productivity, attendance, task assignments, and, where applicable, production bonuses.
* Prepare production reports covering progress, productivity, inventory levels, material consumption, costs, waste, and achievement of targets.
* Control the efficient use of raw materials, components, equipment, and other resources, minimizing waste and unnecessary costs.
* Identify root causes of deviations, delays, or capacity issues and implement corrective and improvement actions.
* Ensure compliance with quality standards and controls throughout all stages of the production process.
* Supervise proper completion and traceability of production records and documentation.
* Coordinate and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance of plant machinery and equipment.
* Conduct periodic inspections of facilities and follow up on identified observations.
* Ensure compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations, promoting preventive measures within the plant.
* Coordinate material requisitions and operational needs in accordance with the production schedule.
* Evaluate external suppliers or service providers for manufacturing, maintenance, or subcontracted work when required by operations.
* Propose improvements aimed at increasing plant capacity, efficiency, and productivity.
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
**Requirements**
* Bachelor’s degree or higher in **Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related fields**.
* Minimum of **3 years’ experience in similar positions**, preferably within industrial, metal-mechanical, or metal structure manufacturing companies.
* Knowledge of production planning and control.
* Familiarity with manufacturing, assembly, and industrial operations processes.
* Proficiency in production, productivity, and cost performance indicators.
* Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety practices applied in industrial plants.
* Working knowledge of ERP systems (user level), preferably Starsoft, SAP Business One, or other enterprise management systems.
* Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency.
* Specialized training or certification in production planning, production control, process improvement, or related areas is desirable.

**Working Conditions**
* **Work Schedule:** Monday to Friday, **8:00 a.m. to 5:36 p.m.**, and Saturdays, **8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.**
* **Work Location:** Ventanilla – **Mi Perú** area.
* Candidates must have **easy access to and availability for on-site work in this area**, preferably residents of Ventanilla, Mi Perú, Pachacútec, Callao, or nearby districts.
* **Compensation:** To be determined based on experience, qualifications, and fit with the profile.
* Employment type: On-site.
**Important:** **Industrial production, metal-mechanical, metal structure manufacturing, operational staff supervision, and ERP system experience will be highly valued**, with preference given to candidates who can easily commute to the Ventanilla plant.
Salary: Starting from S/.2,200.00 per month
