ASSISTANT DRIVER (Distribution Driver)

Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a Delivery Driver to operate vehicles, perform deliveries and pickups of items, verify products, and maintain the vehicle in good condition while safeguarding the cargo. Key Responsibilities: 1. Home delivery and transportation of goods 2. Verification and handling of cargo 3. Daily maintenance of the assigned vehicle \*RESPONSIBILITIES\*: * Operate the vehicle following pre-established routes * Perform pickups of items such as furniture, appliances, etc. * Verify that all products are properly loaded onto the vehicle * Inspect the vehicle daily to identify potential faults or malfunctions * Correctly use the designated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) * Report emergencies, delays, accidents, and other incidents to the supervisor * Safeguard the cargo and goods in the truck under one's responsibility * Assist in maintaining warehouse order * Carry out tasks assigned during working hours \*REQUIREMENTS\*: * Minimum 1 year of experience driving H100 or KIA2700 trucks (or similar) (mandatory) * Valid Class A driver's license (authorizing operation of 1.5-ton trucks) * Updated police background check * Residence in or near Villa El Salvador * Utility bill (electricity or water) * Copy of national ID (DNI) * No traffic violation tickets * Availability to work Monday through Saturday * Familiarity with streets and routes across Metropolitan Lima * Experience as a delivery driver / distribution driver * Experience in loading/unloading furniture, appliances, etc., requiring physical effort * AGE: between 25\-50 years \*COMPETENCIES\*: * Physical strength * Conflict resolution * Proficiency in WAZE, WHATSAPP, and Google Maps \*WE OFFER\* * Salary: \*(S/.1,440\+lunch bonus for punctuality)\* * SCTR insurance * Bi-weekly and end-of-month payroll * Provision of PPE * Employment type: Full-time WORK LOCATION: Loma de Corvina, Villa El Salvador (near Saga factories) \*READ THE COMPLETE DESCRIPTION OF THIS POSTING\*.
