Position Summary: We are seeking a Crane Truck Operator to join our team, performing inspections, risk assessments, and applying lifting techniques with high safety standards and procedures. At Consorcio Logístico Sagitario, we are seeking talent for a **CRANE TRUCK OPERATOR** position to join our team at Minera Chinalco Perú, located in Junín at 4,500 m.s.n.m. **Your main responsibilities will include:** * Conducting a thorough equipment inspection (walk-around check) before starting the shift. * Immediately reporting any equipment anomalies: before, during, and after the shift. * Assessing workplace hazards prior to positioning the equipment; immediately notifying the supervisor if any substandard conditions are identified. * Complying with and aligning to project standards and procedures. * Understanding rigging techniques (slings, shackles, lifting hooks, etc.), considering load capacities, specifications, and characteristics. * Wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times (helmet, goggles, vest, gloves, safety footwear, and other PPE required by daily job demands as defined in procedures). * Properly securing the work area and removing unauthorized personnel from lifting activities. * Safeguarding and protecting company assets assigned for effective job performance (radios, retractable lanyards, harnesses, vehicles, etc.), beginning with equipment order and cleanliness. * Performing other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor within the scope of functional competence. * Adhering to work standards specified in RIT, RISST, RITRAN, IPER, IPERC, and JSA. **Required Qualifications:** * Technical personnel (preferred). * Documented competency through courses and/or certifications from previous employers. * Basic knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance (not mandatory). * Minimum three (3) years of certified experience lifting loads in industrial, mining, construction, civil works, plant shutdowns, and similar projects. **You must be available for:** * Working under a 14-days-on/7-days-off schedule or other special or rotational arrangements, depending on operational requirements. * Traveling domestically. **KNOWLEDGE:** * Familiarity with international standards (ASME B30\) that standardize best practices for cargo lifting. * Ability to read and accurately interpret crane truck load charts and diagrams. * Knowledge of hand signals per ASME B30\.5\ standard. * Comprehensive understanding of ASME B30\.22\ standard. * Extensive knowledge of lifting operations. * Teamwork capability and soft skills. * Proactive work attitude and commitment to continuous improvement.
