Position Summary: We are seeking a Field Sampler for mining operations, responsible for conducting sampling of development faces, colluvial deposits, and sample management in Chimbote. Key Highlights: 1. Experience in mine sampling, both conventional and semi-mechanized 2. Channel and trench sampling, including rock and soil 3. Sample management and transportation for laboratory analysis On behalf of our mining-sector client, we are seeking a **Field Sampler** to join their operations in Chimbote. **Work Schedule:** 20 days on / 10 days off \- Chimbote **REQUIREMENTS** * Completed secondary education and/or technical training in sampling * Proficiency in computer use and Microsoft Office (Excel) * Minimum 1 year of experience as a Sampler or Assistant Sampler in conventional or semi\-mechanized underground mining * Minimum 1 year of experience as a Drilling Assistant in mining operations **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Perform systematic sampling of development faces according to channel sampling methodology and rock sample type * Perform colluvial deposit sampling according to trench sampling methodology and sample type (rock, soil) * Record data from each sample collected at the mining face onto sampling cards; paint the channel outline and clearly label the sample code on the face wall * Insert quality control samples such as high-grade standards, medium-grade standards, blanks, duplicates, and twins * Transport samples from the work area to the geology storage depot; label samples in bags for laboratory shipment * Assist surveyors in mapping sampling channels; populate the sampling database in Excel files **BENEFITS** * Covered per diems (transportation, meals, and transport) * EPS health insurance at 85% * Benefits under the General Labor Regime payroll system Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.2,000\.00 \- S/.2,300\.00 per month Application Question(s): * Please indicate your salary expectation * Please indicate your availability for commencement Work Location: On-site employment
