Opportunity for professional development and continuous learning A specialized telecommunications engineering company is seeking an **HSE Supervisor** for a project in the mining sector. The professional will be responsible for supervising, implementing, and monitoring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards during the execution of telecommunications activities, ensuring adherence to current legal regulations, internal procedures, and client-specified requirements. **Responsibilities** * Supervise compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards during project activity execution. * Verify correct application of ATS, PETAR, Continuous IPERC, PETS, and other safety procedures established by the company and the client. * Supervise critical tasks such as work at height (self-supporting towers and guyed towers), electrical work, lifting operations, and other high-risk activities. * Conduct field safety inspections, identifying unsafe acts and conditions, and ensure implementation of corrective actions. * Lead safety talks, inductions, trainings, and investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses. * Supervise proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), fall protection systems, and compliance with height rescue procedures. * Prepare safety reports and documentation, coordinating with the Field Supervisor and Project Manager to ensure HSE standard compliance and achievement of project objectives. **Requirements** * Licensed and registered engineer in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields. * Diploma or specialization in Occupational Safety and Health (SSOMA) with a minimum duration of **200 academic hours**. * Minimum **3 years** of experience as an HSE Supervisor, SSOMA Supervisor, or similar role in mining projects. * Experience supervising telecommunications activities in the mining sector. * Experience supervising work at height on self-supporting towers, guyed towers, or similar structures. * Knowledge of fall protection systems and height rescue procedures. * Knowledge and experience in ATS, PETAR, Continuous IPERC, PETS, and incident investigation. * Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health regulations and safety standards applicable to the mining sector. * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Immediate availability. **Benefits** * Participation in a major telecommunications project in the mining sector. * Integration into a multidisciplinary technical team. * Opportunity for professional development and continuous learning. * Excellent working environment. * Timely payments.
