We recruit, train, and develop talent; advise our clients on best practices; and guarantee high standards of performance, communication, and quality. **The Role** We are looking for a Junior AI Developer to join our artificial intelligence team. You will support the training, optimization, and integration of computer vision models applied to damage detection in HVAC equipment. You will work closely with backend and mobile development teams to ensure AI outputs are correctly integrated into the platform. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with solid AI foundations who wants to grow within a real-world production environment using cutting-edge technology. **What You’ll Do:** * Support training and optimization of AI models for damage detection in HVAC machinery using Roboflow * Use AI Vision tools (e.g., Google Vision API or others) to read labels in images and convert them into processable data * Process and analyze image datasets collected from the mobile application to improve model accuracy and performance * Collaborate on integrating AI solutions with backend systems for automated HVAC report generation * Work alongside the development team to ensure AI outputs are correctly incorporated into the application * Stay updated on advancements in AI and computer vision for continuous system improvement **What We’re Looking For:** **Education:** * Final-year student or graduate in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field * Courses, bootcamps, or certifications in Machine Learning, Computer Vision, or AI are valued * Documented academic or personal projects on GitHub or another technical portfolio are a plus **Experience:** * 0–1 year of experience in AI or machine learning roles (academic or personal projects are acceptable) * Practical experience with model training platforms such as Roboflow * Experience integrating AI models with APIs or backend systems (desirable) * Experience processing image datasets (desirable) **Tools & Technical Knowledge:** *Required:* * Roboflow — computer vision model training, annotation, and deployment * Google Vision API or equivalents — image analysis * Python — scripting, data handling, and API consumption * Image dataset preprocessing, evaluation, and management * Integration of models with REST APIs and backend systems *Desirable:* * TensorFlow or PyTorch — basic to intermediate level * Docker / MLOps — basic containerized model deployment * AWS SageMaker — cloud-based AI services **Soft Skills:** * Advanced English, both written and spoken (**mandatory**) * Intellectual curiosity and a mindset of continuous learning * Attention to detail and analytical ability * Proactivity and willingness to propose improvements * Teamwork and cross-functional collaboration * Time management and delivery accountability **Desirable Qualifications:** * Experience with large-scale image datasets * Basic knowledge of Docker and MLOps for model deployment * Familiarity with AWS SageMaker or other cloud-based AI services * Personal or academic projects documented on GitHub * Basic knowledge of Android or iOS to understand the image capture workflow **What We Offer:** * Full-time position, hybrid mode in Lima * Entry-level role with high growth potential toward Mid/Senior level * Direct exposure to AI projects in real production environments * Direct collaboration with a U.S.-backed company * Collaborative and continuously improving culture * Mentorship from senior engineers on the team To apply, please complete the following form: https://vcmpremier.buk.pe/s/doNaG3rJfEw4jD4k Application Question(s): * Indicate your ID document type and number (DNI or CE) * Are you available to work onsite in Santiago de Surco?
