Job Summary:
We are seeking a drilling equipment and long-hole drill operator to perform underground drilling, verify equipment, and comply with safety standards.

**IMPORTANT: MINERA GIM is seeking a DRILLING EQUIPMENT AND LONG-HOLE DRILL OPERATOR**
* Unit: Americana
* Location: Lima, 30 minutes from Ticlio (Huarochiri)
* Altitude: 4,200 msl to 4,500 msl
* Camps: Carmen, Potosi, Pachamanca, and Samay wasi.
**REQUIREMENTS**
* Completed secondary education
* Valid Professional Driver's License Class A I
* 2 years of experience as a Simba operator
* Completion of all 3 doses of COVID-19 vaccine
* Willingness to work under the mining regime (14 days on / 7 days off)
* Candidates residing in Huancayo, Concepción, La Oroya, Jauja, Pasco, Junín, or Lima
**ROTATING SHIFT SCHEDULE**:
* Morning and night shifts (6 AM to 6 PM and vice versa)

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
* Attend daily 5-minute safety briefings and shift assignments to coordinate tasks.
* Receive work orders from the mine supervisor to properly execute long-hole drilling, considering section, direction, and grade of the development.
* Verify advance pressure, rotation, percussion, and idle pressure; control rod penetration; achieve scheduled drilling targets.
* Perform equipment checklist, verifying oil levels, hour meter, tires, electrical system, brakes, coolant circulation, reverse lights, fire extinguisher, horn, drill rod operability, and steel condition.
* Report any equipment anomalies to the immediate supervisor before moving the equipment; the supervisor will coordinate with the relevant department for verification and correction of reported anomalies.
* Comply with corporate standards and PETS in mining operations.
* Complete IPERC forms and other management tools such as checklists, shift logbooks, daily operation records, and drill rig logs.
* Transport equipment to the worksite and position it at a safe distance for spraying, untying, and supporting.
* Move equipment to a previously coordinated safe location with supervision to prevent damage caused by blasting activities in the development.
* Fulfill other responsibilities inherent to the position.
