Job Summary: We are seeking Mechanical Technicians to participate in the assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment at mining units, ensuring compliance with specifications and standards. Prepare reports on work performed **G\&G Industrial** is seeking **Mechanical Technicians** to join the **Projects** department, participating in assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and components at mining units. **JOB OBJECTIVE** Perform assembly, installation, maintenance, and repair tasks for mechanical equipment and structures, ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and project timelines. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES** * Perform assembly and installation of mechanical equipment and dust collection and filtration systems. * Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment at mining sites. * Interpret mechanical, isometric, and fabrication drawings. * Assemble and align structures, ducts, hoppers, cyclones, filters, and mechanical components. * Perform disassembly, repair, and replacement of mechanical components. * Verify proper operation of installed equipment. * Support functional testing and commissioning. * Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments correctly. * Report technical deviations, unsafe conditions, and material or tool requirements. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Comply with Occupational Health and Safety procedures and use PPE correctly. * Prepare reports on work performed. * Perform other job-related duties assigned by the project manager or supervisor. **REQUIREMENTS** * Minimum **1–2 years** of experience in assembly, maintenance, installation, or fabrication of industrial structures and equipment. * Preferred experience in **mining projects**. * Knowledge of reading mechanical and isometric drawings. * **Availability to work under a 14x7 schedule and travel to mining units.** **EMPLOYMENT MODALITIES** * **Permanent:** Direct employment on the company’s **payroll**, involvement in various company projects, and adherence to the **14x7 schedule**. * **Project-based:** Contract duration aligned with the execution period of a specific project, with **deployment to mining sites under a 14x7 schedule**. **Work Location:** Santiago de Surco or mining units, depending on the modality.
