Description

Position Summary: Support in the reception, preparation, control of mineral samples, and chemical/metallurgical analysis, preparing technical reports and managing databases. Key Highlights: 1. Support in sample reception and control of mineral samples. 2. Participation in metallurgical tests and preparation of reports. 3. Coordination with the laboratory for sample processing. **Responsibilities:** * Support in reception, preparation, and control of mineral samples. * Registration and tracking of chemical and metallurgical analyses. * Support in metallurgical tests (cyanidation, flotation, leaching, among others). * Preparation of technical reports and database management. * Verification of compliance with quality and safety procedures. * Coordination with the laboratory department for sample processing. **Requirements:** * Final-year student or graduate in Metallurgical Engineering. * Basic knowledge of mineral chemical analysis (Au, Ag, Cu, and others). * Knowledge of metallurgical processes and metallurgical balancing. * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency. * Knowledge of laboratory quality standards is desirable. * Organizational skills, teamwork ability, and attention to detail. * Availability for on-site work. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Knowledge of fire assay. * Knowledge of mechanical sample preparation (crushing, splitting, and pulverizing). * Prior experience or internships in mining or metallurgical laboratories. * Basic proficiency in metallurgical and statistical software. **Competencies:** * Responsibility and commitment. * Proactivity. * Learning ability. * Results orientation. * Effective communication.
