Coordination with multidisciplinary teams and clients Hello, the Project Development team is looking for a Junior Mining Engineer to support the development of mining studies and projects, participating in the design and modeling of open-pit and underground mines. The position involves supporting mine planning, cost and equipment estimations, scheduling, preparation of technical reports, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams and clients. The role requires proficiency in mining software, analytical skills, effective communication in both Spanish and English, and willingness to travel to mining operations. * Contribute to the development of mine plans, designs, and models to meet client needs and comply with all applicable regulations. * Support the ongoing development of equipment estimates, cost estimates, and schedules for projects and studies. * Ensure individual deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and exceed quality standards to support engineering teams. * Develop and maintain communication channels with Wood's internal personnel to ensure smooth workflows and delivery of outputs to high standards. * Collect up-to-date first-hand information from mining operations, meet with clients, and continuously monitor work performance. * Generate progress reports for studies, client presentations, meeting minutes, and memoranda. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Mining Engineering. * Advanced level of English.
