Job Summary: Buenaventura is seeking a Planning Engineer to support the design and control of mining and extraction plans, supervise mining activities, and coordinate with other departments. Coordination with geology and other departments to optimize mining operations. **Date:** 10 Jul 2026 **Location:** 08 \- HUANCAVELICA, PE **\#job\-location.job\-location\-inline { display:** inline; } **Company:** Buenaventura "Join Our Team" At Buenaventura, we are currently seeking a Planning Engineer for one of our mining units. **Main Responsibilities:** Support the design of short-, medium-, and long-term mining and extraction plans. Supervise and control the design of mining layout plans (ramps, cuts, galleries, etc.). Plan, design, and control the hydraulic backfill process through project development, plan design, and follow-up. Supervise and control the design of plans for auxiliary services development (dump sites, hoppers, water drainage, etc.) in coordination with the Mine Services Department. Support the Geology Department by designing layout plans. Manage and apply the integrated management system in accordance with applicable regulations. Obtain geological information on mineralized zones and tonnage and grade targets from the Planning Department. Perform topographic control to ensure proper mining, advance, and compliance with design plans. Coordinate with the Ventilation Department on mine department projects and support the design of ventilation shaft plans. **Professional Profile:** Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field. Intermediate office software skills. Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions. Immediate availability to work at a mining unit. IMPORTANT!
