**Description:**
At Industrias del Cobre y Zinc S.A.C., we are looking for an Environmental Engineering Intern eager to learn, contribute ideas, and grow within a dynamic and highly technical environment. Provide support in the environmental management of our operations, contributing to compliance with standards and best practices in the mining sector.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Assist in monitoring and controlling environmental parameters.
* Participate in the preparation of environmental technical reports.
* Collaborate in the implementation of environmental management plans.
* Support internal audits and regulatory compliance.
* Coordinate with various institutions to ensure environmental best practices.
* Manage and track the acquisition of environmental and sectoral permits from entities such as MINAM, OEFA, ANA, and regional governments for the installation of the beneficiation plant.
* Assist in the preparation, review, and submission of environmental management instruments (DIA, EIA, ITS, among others).
* Coordinate with consulting firms, authorities, and internal departments to expedite administrative and technical procedures related to licenses and authorizations.
* Monitor compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, maintaining an updated matrix of the project's environmental obligations.
* Support the collection of technical and environmental baseline information required to substantiate filings with competent authorities.
* Assist in document management and file control, ensuring traceability and response times in permit approval processes.
**Requirements**
* Final-year student or graduate in Environmental Engineering or related fields.
* Interest in the mining sector and sustainability.
* Basic knowledge of environmental regulations.
* Intermediate-level Excel proficiency.
* Proactivity, responsibility, and ability to work in a team.

**Working Hours**
