Opportunity for professional development and continuous learning A company specialized in telecommunications engineering is seeking an **HSE/Safety Engineer** for a project in the mining sector. The professional will be responsible for supervising, implementing, and monitoring compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (HSE) standards during the execution of telecommunications activities, ensuring adherence to current legal regulations, internal procedures, and client-specified requirements. **Responsibilities** * Supervise compliance with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental (HSE) standards during project activities. * Verify correct application of ATS, PETAR, Continuous IPERC, PETS, and other safety procedures established by the company and the client. * Supervise critical tasks such as work at height (self-supporting towers and guyed towers), electrical work, lifting operations, and other high-risk activities. * Conduct field safety inspections to identify unsafe acts and conditions, and ensure implementation of corrective actions. * Lead safety talks, inductions, trainings, and investigations of incidents, accidents, and near-misses. * Supervise proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), fall protection systems, and compliance with height rescue procedures. * Prepare safety reports and reports, coordinating with the Field Supervisor and Project Manager to ensure compliance with HSE standards and project objectives. **Requirements** * A licensed, registered, and authorized engineer in Safety Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related fields. * A diploma or specialization in Occupational Safety and Health (SSOMA) with a minimum duration of **200 academic hours**. * Minimum of **03 years** of experience as an HSE Supervisor, SSOMA Supervisor, or similar roles in mining projects. * Experience supervising telecommunications activities in mining. * Experience supervising work at height on self-supporting towers, guyed towers, or similar structures. * Knowledge of fall protection systems and height rescue procedures. * Knowledge and experience in ATS, PETAR, Continuous IPERC, PETS, and incident investigation. * Familiarity with Occupational Safety and Health regulations and safety standards applicable to the mining sector. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Immediate availability. **Benefits** * Participation in an important telecommunications project in the mining sector. * Integration into a multidisciplinary technical team. * Opportunity for professional development and continuous learning. * Excellent working environment. * Timely payments.
